Monteverde Cloud Forest Costa Rica
Monteverde Cloud Forest, one day Tour from la Fortuna.
Take the opportunity to visit the world-famous Monteverde Cloud Forest and do either a Canopy Zipline Tour or Hanging bridges – all in one, fun-filled day!
Monteverde is well-known for its canopy zipline and hanging bridge tours because they are located way up in the cloud forest of the Cordillera Central that makes up the continental divide.
The town of Santa Elena is located between the two cloud forest nature reserves in the area: the Monteverde reserve and the Santa Elena reserve. The town was founded by a colony of Quakers from North America and has since taken on a unique, rural cowboy feel. This tour makes for a very long day of travel, but if you have limited time on your Costa Rica vacation and want a chance to see the cloud forest, this is a great way to do it!
